How to Remove Your Traceback Account (Android & iOS)
Want to fully remove your Traceback account? Deleting your account erases your profile and stops your billing. This is different from just cancelling, it removes your account from Traceback entirely. Here's how to do it and what to expect.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the Traceback app.
- Go to Settings (or your profile).
- Tap Account.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
- That's it. Your account is removed and your subscription billing stops.
Tips
- Deleting your account ends your subscription, so you don't need to cancel separately.
- If you only want to stop paying but keep your account, cancel your subscription instead of deleting.
- Back up anything you want to keep before deleting, since account removal can't be undone.
Privacy: What Happens to Your Data
Traceback is a No Caller ID reveal app, so people often want to know what happens to their information when they leave. When you delete your account, your profile and associated account data are removed from Traceback. We don't keep your account active or continue billing once it's deleted. If you have specific questions about what data is stored or how long it's retained, check the in-app privacy policy or contact support.
Troubleshooting
I deleted my account but still got charged. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are managed by them. If a charge already went through before deletion, it follows Apple or Google's refund policy. To be safe, you can also cancel directly in your phone's subscription settings.
I can't find the Delete Account option. Make sure your app is updated to the latest version. If it's still missing, contact support and we'll remove the account for you.
I deleted my account by mistake. Account deletion is permanent. You'd need to sign up again as a new user, and previous data can't be restored.
