How Do I Disable Marketing Updates?
Don't want marketing messages from Traceback? You're in control. In the app you can choose which marketing messages you get, by Push, SMS, WhatsApp, or Email, or turn them all off.
Traceback may occasionally send marketing messages about new features, offers, and updates. You decide which ones you receive. In Manage Notifications you can choose which marketing messages to get, or turn them all off.
Choose Your Marketing Messages
You can control marketing messages for each channel on its own:
- Push
- SMS
Keep on the ones you want and turn off the rest. Switch them all off and you won't receive any marketing messages from Traceback.
How to Manage Your Messages
- Open Traceback.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Manage Notifications.
- Choose which marketing messages you want to receive (Push, SMS, WhatsApp, Email). Turn them all off to stop marketing entirely.
Keep Reveal Notifications On
In the same Manage Notifications screen you'll also find reveal notifications. We don't recommend turning these off if you want to be alerted when a No Caller ID call is revealed. They're separate from marketing, so turning marketing off doesn't affect them.
Privacy Note
Your contact details are only used to send the marketing messages you've turned on. Switch a channel off and we won't use it to reach you with marketing.
Troubleshooting
I turned marketing off but still got a message. Changes can take a little time to apply. If a marketing message still arrives after that, message support on WhatsApp and we'll look into it.
I'm getting messages I don't want. Open Settings, then Manage Notifications, and turn off the channels you don't want, or all of them.
I stopped getting reveal alerts. Check that reveal notifications are still on in Manage Notifications. Turning them off stops alerts when a No Caller ID call is revealed.
