Is My Carrier Supported by Traceback?

Not sure if your carrier works with Traceback? Here's the simple rule for who's supported and who isn't.

Traceback works on all Israeli carriers on regular lines. There are two exceptions: prepaid SIMs don't work on any carrier, and the Wecom carrier isn't supported. Traceback is also available in the United States, but this help center focuses on Israeli carriers.

Supported

  • All major Israeli carriers on regular (monthly/contract) lines.
  • Lines that support call forwarding, which Traceback uses to reveal the real number.

Not Supported

  • Prepaid SIMs, on any carrier, including prepaid brands like Talkman.
  • The Wecom carrier.

How to Check If You're Supported

  • Confirm you're in Israel (this help center is for Israel).
  • Confirm your line is a regular plan, not prepaid.
  • Confirm you're not on Wecom.
  • Make sure call forwarding can be enabled on your line.

Privacy: What Traceback Uses

Traceback reveals blocked and No Caller ID calls through call forwarding, then matches the number to a name in our database when one exists. No match means you'll see just the revealed number. We only handle the information needed to identify the caller.

Troubleshooting

My carrier is supported but it's not working. Check that you're on a regular line, not prepaid, and that call forwarding is enabled. Those are the most common blockers.

I'm on Wecom. Wecom isn't supported, so the reveal won't work. You'd need a different supported carrier.

I don't know if my line is prepaid. Check with your carrier or your plan details. Prepaid SIMs can't use the reveal feature.
